You know they got me trapped in this prison of seclusion
Happiness, living on the streets is a delusion
Cause they never taught peace in the black community
All we know is violence, do they job in silence
What do I do? Live my life in a prison cell?
I’d rather die than be trapped in a living hell
They got me trapped, trapped in my own community.
Painted in dark dank colors, prison bars tightly held with hands of all colors, some dripping in blood, as to signify the power and strength that we hold in our hands. The viewer can see ever so slightly small slivers of blue hope through the prison bars, remembering there is always hope, no matter how dark the situation is.
