Life Goes On

Artist Interpretations, Explanations and Thoughts

How many brothers fell victim to the streets?
Rest in peace, young nigga, there’s a heaven for a G
Be a lie if I told you that I never thought of death
My niggas, we the last ones left, but life goes on.

The sense of fear among the innocence of youth, simplistic bright colors amplify the torture of the young men and woman who die too early, at the beginning of their life’s. To help ease the daily pain alcohol and drugs are regularly used to combat those fears, symbolizing the failing of evil.
Life is a game full of illusions, and the suffering begins with the acknowledgement of death, which happens all too early. The painting brings the energy and life back into the souls of those departed.
